5 creatives exploring the Namibian desert aiming to find the best location to capture the largest Meteor shower of the year, the Geminid Meteor Shower on December 13th-14th. Amongst capturing this phenomenon we will be doing several game drives to capture the beauty and majesty of African wildlife over 15 days. We would love to partner with Sigma to capture these spectacles, it's these environments as where the quality and versatility of the lenses really shine.

The Geminid Meteor Shower, one of the year’s most brilliant displays, fills the sky with up to 120 meteors per hour at its peak. Capturing this spectacle in Namibia’s remote, dark-sky landscapes lets us document the meteors in their full clarity and contrast.
Using Sigma lenses, we’ll bring out every detail of these vivid streaks against the night sky. Sigma’s glass allows us to capture this with sharpness and depth, and will allow us to show the full scope of the Geminids visible on screen.
Our short film will showcase how Sigma lenses make it possible to capture Namibia’s vast night skies, bringing viewers closer to the scene and the beauty of the meteor shower.
Sossusvlei is one of Namibia's most famous attractions and is famed for its vibrant ochre sand dunes – some of which are the tallest in the world.
Close to Sossusvlei, Deadvlei is a clay pan characterized by dark, dead camel thorn trees contrasted against the white pan floor.
Dunes meet sea at the Skeleton Coast and there is a lot to see and do here that makes Swakopmund an ideal break to the vast distance between Sossusvlei and Etosha.
Home of desert-adapted elephant, rhino and lions as well as oryx, springbok and hundreds of bird species, Damaraland is at once beautiful, unique and fascinating with rocky mountains, grass-covered plains and every conceivable range of brown from dark russet to bleached blonde.

After becoming one of the richest towns in Africa during a diamond boom in 1910, Kolmanskop was left by all inhabtants in the following decades. Kolmanskop became a ghost town in the desert.
We're interested in creating a short film for Sigma's social channels to be used as promotional material for Sigma gear. This entire project will be shot using the Sigma lenses, featuring Sigma branding and lens breakdowns for each. environment throughout the film. For example, show casing images taken with a particular lens, showing BTS of us using that lens, and a brief breakdown of what lens we're using and why in these environments/situations.
As for narrative for the film we would like to speak about relying on the Sigma lenses to capture these moments, focusing on their reliability and light-weight without sacrificing image quality. We're also happy to chat about the message you'd like to convey in terms of talking about the gear and/or how we showcase it in the film.
Our team will be heading to Namibia and executing on this project from December 3rd to 18th. The edit will be finished by February.
